WIUC CYBERSECURITY HACKATHON (CTF - 1ST EDITION)

The WIUC Cybersecurity Hackathon (CTF – 1st Edition) is a premier ethical hacking competition hosted by the Digital Forensics Lab of Wisconsin International University College (WIUC), Accra Ghana, designed to test, challenge, and sharpen the penetration testing and vulnerability assessment skills of students through real-world cyber attack scenarios. This Capture The Flag (CTF) competition focuses exclusively on penetration testing, requiring participants to think and operate like cybersecurity analysts and ethical hackers. Each challenge simulates a critical security incident drawn from live reconnaissance, exploit development, vulnerability enumeration, password cracking, misconfigurations, and post-exploitation analysis.
